God
the Fount-of-All-Mercy
the Ever-Merciful
O Newsbringer
when any of you
divorce women
divorce them
when they have reached
their period of purity
count the time carefully
and be Mindful of God
your Liege
do not make them
leave their houses
nor should they leave
unless they do something
obviously not proper
those are God's limits
whoever goes
beyond God's limits
they have done wrong
to themselves
you do not know
perhaps after that
God will make
something new happen
then
when they have reached
the end of
their waiting time
keep them with honour
or part from them
with honour
and call in two just witness
from your people
and the witnessing
should be made
before God
this is a warning
to whoever believes
in God and the Last Day
and whoever is
Mindful of God
Hu will give them
a way out
Hu will provide for them
from where
they had not imagined
and whoever puts their trust
in God
Hu will be enough for them
God always gets Hu's Way
God has given
a measure
to everything
as for those women
who no longer have periods
their waiting time
shall be three months
as with those who have not
had periods yet
as for those who are pregnant
their time is
when they give birth
whoever is
Mindful of God
by Hu's command
is given ease
that is God's command
that Hu has sent down to you
and whoever is
Mindful of God
Hu will wipe away
their evil deeds
and Hu will give them
a mighty reward
let them live
where you live
as much as
you can afford
and do not
put pressure on them
to make things hard for them
if they are pregnant
provide for them
until they give birth
if they suckle the baby
give them their wages
and talk together
with honour
but if you make things
difficult for one another
another woman
should do the suckling
those who have plenty
should spend from their plenty
but let those who are
provided with less
spend from what
God has given them
God does not
burden anyone
beyond
what Hu has given them
after difficulty
God will bring
ease
how many a city
turned in scorn
from the command of
its Liege
and Hu's Messengers
then We made for it
a harsh reckoning
and punished it
with a terrible punishment
so they tasted
the evil results
of what they did
and at the end of it
was loss
God prepared for them
a terrible punishment
so be Mindful of God
those of you with minds
you who believe
God has sent down to you
as a reminder
a Messenger telling you
the Signs of God
Clear Signs
so Hu can bring out
those who believe
and do good deeds
from the shadows
into the light
whoever believes in God
and does what is right
Hu will let them enter
gardens
beneath which rivers flow
in them they shall live for ever
God has made for them
a good providing
God created seven heavens
and of the earth
the same as them
the Command
coming down
through them all
so you may know that
God has power
over everything
and that God
surrounds everything
in knowledge
