the Fount-of-All-Mercy
the Ever-Merciful
grateful praise
belongs to God
Hu begins
the heavens and the earth
Hu made the Angels
messengers
with wings
two

or four
adding to creation
as Hu wills
surely God is
powerful over everything
whatever mercy
God opens up to humankind
none can hold it back
and whatever
Hu holds back
no one can get loose
Hu is
the All-Powerful
the Wise
humankind
remember
God's blessing upon you
is there any creator
apart from God
who provides for you
out of heaven and earth?
there is no God but Hu
how then do you
choose what is false?
if they call you a liar
Messengers before you
were called liars
and to God
everything returns
humankind
God's promise is true
so do not let
the present life
deceive you
and do not let
the Deceiver
deceive you
about God
Satan
is a sure enemy to you
so take it for an enemy
that calls people
to its party
only so they
may be with those
who live in the Blaze
those who are
ungrateful
have waiting for them
a terrible punishment
but those who believe
and do good deeds
shall have forgiveness
and a great reward
and what of those
whose evil deeds
have been made
to look fair to them
so they think
they are good?
God leads to
the wrong way
whoever Hu wills
and whoever Hu wills
Hu guides
so do not let yourself
waste away
in regret for them
God knows
the things they do
God is Hu
sets loose the winds
that stir up cloud
then We drive it
to a dead land
and there
bring the earth
back to life
after it was dead
just so
will be
the Rising
whoever wants
power and glory
all power and glory
belongs to God
to Hu good words go up
and the good deed
Hu lifts it up
but those who plan
evil deeds
theirs shall be
a terrible punishment
and their plans
will come to nothing
God created you
of dust
then a drop of liquid
then Hu made you pairs
no female
is pregnant
or gives birth
without Hu knowing
and no-one is given long life
who is given long life
but it is in a Book
surely that is easy
for God
the two seas
are not equal
this one is sweet
satisfying to taste
delicious to drink
the other one is salt
bitter on the tongue
yet from both of them
you eat fresh flesh
and bring out of them
beautiful things
for you to wear
and you can see the ships
cutting through them
searching for Hu's bounty
so hopefully
you will be
thankful
Hu makes the night
enter into the day
and makes the day
enter into the night
and Hu has made
the sun and the moon
run to a fixed time
that is God
your Liege
to Hu belongs
the Realm
and those you call upon
apart from Hu
have not so much as
the skin of a date stone
if you call upon them
they will not hear your prayer
and if they heard
they would not answer you
and on the Day of Rising
they will reject
your making partners of them
no-one can tell you
like the aware
humankind
you are the ones
that have need of God
Hu is
the Rich-beyond-Need
the Most-Praiseworthy
if Hu wills
Hu can finish with you
and bring about
a new creation
that is surely
no great matter
for God
no soul
weighed down
carries the load
of another
and if anyone
with a heavy load
calls for help in carrying it
nothing of it will be carried
even by close family
you only warn those
who fear their Liege
in the unseen
and make the Sala
and those who
clean themselves
only clean themselves
for their own good
to God is the homecoming
not equal are
the blind and those who see
the shadows and the light
cool shade and fierce heat
not equal are
the living and the dead
God makes to hear
whoever Hu wills
you cannot make
those in their graves
hear
you are nothing but a warner
surely We have sent you
with the truth
to bring good news
and a warning
there is not a people
that has not had
a warner pass away in it
if they call you a liar
those before them
also called it lies
their Messengers
came to them
with the Clear Signs
the Psalms
and the Book
giving light
then I seized
those that were
ungrateful
and how was
My horror
have you not seen
how God sends down
water out of heaven
and with it
We bring out
fruits
of different colours?
and in the mountains
are streaks of white
and red
and different colours
and black like pitch
and humankind
and wild beasts
and livestock
have many
different colours
like that
even so
only those of
Hu's servants
who have knowledge
fear God
God is
All-Powerful
Most-Forgiving
those who speak
the Book of God
and make the Sala
and spend from
what We have provided them
in secret and in the open
look for a trade
that will never
grow less
that Hu may pay them
their wages in full
and make them rich
from Hu's bounty
surely Hu is
Most-Forgiving
All-Thankful
and what We have
revealed to you
of the Book
is the truth
making clear
the truth of
what came before it
God is aware of
and sees
Hu's servants
then We handed down
the Book
to those of Our servants
We chose
but some of them
wrong themselves
some of them
sit on the fence
and some
race against each other
in doing good works
by the grace of God
that is the great bounty
Gardens of Eden
they shall enter
there they will be
beautifully dressed
with bracelets of gold
and pearls
and their clothes there
shall be of silk
and they will say
"Grateful praise
belongs to God
Hu has put away
all sorrows from us
surely our Liege is
Most-Forgiving
All-Thankful
and of Hu's bounty
has made us live
in the home of
everlasting life
where we are never
weak or tired"
as for those who are
ungrateful
theirs will be
the fires of Hell
where they will not
be brought to an end
so they can die
nor will its punishment
get any lighter for them
that is how We punish
those who are
ungrateful
in it they will shout
"Our Liege
let us out
and we will do
what is right
not like
what we did before"
"What
did We not give you
long life
enough to remember in
if you wanted to remember?
the warner came to you
now taste
those who do evil
will have no helper"
God knows
the unseen
in the heavens and the earth
Hu knows the thoughts
within the breast
it is Hu
made you as deputies
in the earth
so whoever was
ungrateful
their being ungrateful
will be charged
against them
their being ungrateful
only increases
those who are ungrateful
in hate
in the sight of their Liege
their being ungrateful
only increases
those who are ungrateful
in loss
say
"Have you thought about
the partner-gods
to whom you call
apart from God?
show me what
they have
created in the earth"
or do they have
a partnership
in the heavens?
or have We given them
a Book
so that they can follow
a Clear Sign from it?
no
those who do evil
promise each other
nothing but
what is not real
God holds
the heavens and the earth
keeping them
from vanishing away
if they vanished
no-one
would hold them
after Hu
Hu is
Gentle
Most-Forgiving
they have sworn by God
the most solemn of promises
that if a warner
came to them
they would be
more right guided
than any other people
but when a warner
came to them
it only made them
more against it
growing proud in the land
and plotting to do evil
but evil plotting
only surrounds
those who do it
do they expect anything
other than what happened
to people from before?
and you will never find
any change in
the wish of God
and you will never find
any altering of
the wish of God
have they not travelled
in the land
and seen
what was the end
of those before them?
they were greater than them
in strength
but God
there is nothing in
the heavens or the earth
that can stand in Hu's way
Hu is
All-Knowing
All-Capable
if God made
humankind
face justice
for what they have earned
Hu would not leave
on the face of the earth
one creature that crawls
but Hu is leaving them
until a decided time
but when their time is come
surely God sees
Hu's servants
