Five Aspects of God

It's perhaps easier to find comfort through searching for God within ourselves, as we are less likely to object to what we find inside ourselves than what we see around us.

A comedian once said that he'd discovered he was god, because when he said his prayers he found he was talking to himself.

Indeed, we can find God within ourselves, Qur'an says that God is closer to us than the jugular vein, but Qur'an also says that wherever we look outside ourselves the Face of God is to be seen, in the sun the moon and stars, and the rest of the Creation. Is it really possible for us to have a relationship with the Creator of the Universe?

Muslims everywhere recognise that God, so remote and beyond us, is yet close enough for us to talk to, and that God is not It but Who. So we give praise to the Lord of the Worlds, saying "You alone we serve, and You alone we ask for help"; and we ask for mercy from the One Who is All-Merciful and All-Compassionate.

For Qur'an says God knows what our souls whisper within us. God hears the thoughts within the breasts.
